Sustainable landscaping and what it means to you

When most people think about the word sustainable, they think of renewable resources, not landscaping. In the landscape industry, it takes on a whole new meaning, but is not defined by just a single meaning. In fact it can be broken down into 5 principles that when they all come together create a harmonious landscape that is accessible, low maintenance, is committed to good stewardship, was created within your budget, but does not compromise style, integrity or unity. I call these principles “Terraesthetics”. In the next few blogs I will go over the principles of Terraesthetics in greater detail.
